Don't pass up this opportunity (you stupid idot, with more money than brain
cells).
Hey just a minit. I resemble that remark:)
I am still working on this. I have a Microdrive so putting programs like SST
on my CF card is easy using Ciderpress. I have a variety of 13 sector images
that I am working with and just generally having some fun.
I'll get back to this thread with a remark or two but as I said, I am no
expert and playing with 13 sector images and disks is a new but necessary
exercise in my own self-education.
Then you might be interested in studying the many and varied forms of
copy protection formats devised for the Disk ][ drive! I think it's
safe to say that the "softness" of this drive's control has caused it
to host the greatest number of extant formats of any disk drive in
history!
Aside from the "novelty" of 13-sector formats, they are not much more
important than 4+4 encoded disks, full-track sectors, "spiral" tracks,
etc.
