Speaking of the Z-Card, it works fine with Softcard CP/M, but what
software actually came with this card? Are there any disk images or
docs available? I have Googled, but the only thing I come up with is
the Z-Engine, which appears to be a very similar card, also from ALS.
Does anyone know what the differences are? Other than using fewer
chips, are either of these ALS cards any better/worse than a Softcard?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just a curious person (you can
interpret that two ways and you'd be correct both times).
