Re: Website moving to Comcast...

http://members.aol.com/mjmahon/RTSynth.html and use archive.org to
see where that page have moved to, can easily find it.

That's a good idea, and I considered it, but it's way too much
trouble for just the last two weeks of AOL presence.

hehe, well it is only 16 pages (2^4 is such a nice number) and a little
cut'n'pasting :-) and the point was more so that the last date at
archive.org for them would have a link to the new place.
(I guess one have to force archive.org to recrawl them before it
is too late though, and the result can first be seen 6 months later...)

btw, will the Sound Editor work on an europlus(clone)?
Yes, it should work fine. The help messages use lower
case, but that's easily changed if it's a problem.

good to hear. nothing that gets destroyed by 50Hz or things.
and my clone do have lowercase so thats no problem.
it is no apple2e though so I guess RTSynth won't work because of
no Key Down sensing, but I guess it would be possible to create
a version of it that plays a note until another key is pressed?

Or you could just use CiderPress to print out a copy
of the program and read the help from there. ;-)

mmm... that AppleCommander john has on the page he mentioned in the
other post looks nice for looking at apple-disks too

I wonder if there are other web sites about apple2 on AOL
that now have to move or disappear... did AOL inform their users
just this month (not 3 months in advance as one normally do
for other things) or?
