I have a Mac mini connected to a Super Serial card on my //e. Most of
my time is spent on Windows and Linux, so Mac is still somewhat foreign
to me. Once Woz stopped designing the computers at Apple, I basically
lost interest. However, I like the Mac as an interface with the //e.
Especially with Kegs and Virtual ][.
In an attempt to install tcpser on the mac, I discovered how much of a
mac n00b I am. Went to wget the tcpser tarball; no wget. Grabbed it
with Safari, un-tarred it and tried to run make; no make. There's no
gmake either.
Ok, so i need to install some packages. What does the Mac use for
package management? I know it's not apt-get. Don't see rpm. How does
one install packages on the Mac?
