I guess the biggest question should be how many books is your friend
wanting to put into what ever program/template he decides to use? Back
in the day I used Appleworks, either 2 or 3 I don't remember which
version, to track my library of about 3500 books. I did a real simple
database for it, I had the authors name and then space for 8 books per
entry. I don't remember how big the file was but I don't think it was
too big, I seem to remember doing on a IIe before I ever got the GS.
