I've tested it on Vista Ultimate and XP, both with 1.6.0_07 (not
beta). You can use Help->Environment to find out what you're running
if you aren't sure.

Now I was hoping to avoid this :) but if all else fails, you may need
to delete the Java Preferences record. Using regedit (on Windows), go
to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/JavaSoft/Prefs/com/bytezone/diskbrowser/
gui and delete the two entries ('Last disk used' and 'Root
directory'). I know it's a hassle, but at least you will get a clean
start out of it.
