Hey thanks a lot Alex. I have a bit of info about how I made the clip
at aeriae.com if you haven't already looked.

I have played Flashgal but I didn't knowingly pluck a sample from it
(though I do do this quite often in tracks, that is ,collect sounds
from videogames, especially in MAME) -- but in AMay I used some 8-bit
bleepery samples that came from a disc on the cover of a computer
music magazine at one point. So if it is indeed Flashgal, they must
have plucked the sample from there themselves.

Btw the AMay clip is competing in the Portable Film Festival right now
in the Music Video category, though their first dump of it hasn't
worked properly (graphics are tearing and such) and they've told me
they'll fix it - but they encourage entrants to get anyone they know
voting for /reviewing films on the site. So if you or anyone else feel
like giving AMay some props over there, please go ahead :)

So do you run all those sites like the IIGS fairway and such? They're
awesome, and have been a huge boon to me. I was spastically excited
about all the IIGS games in the day but didn't get to play half as
many as I'd have liked. So in the net age, when I found the fairway
and all those images, that was a little bit crippling for me.
