Re: SPAM from stockhunt needs to stop

The following (see below this message) is the message that I sent to the
registrant of stockhunt after forwarding afew dozen of their SPAM messages.

The last time I did something like this was in 1999 and I got a fair amount
of negative publicity as the result of a retaliation but since this SPAM is
ruining my enjoyment of this group bigtime I decided to risk a retaliation
before unsubscribing from this group.

I realize it is a personal choice but there is also safety in numbers
provided a common interest in taking corrective measures is present. The
only way I know to take this forward is to let you know what I have done
and I do appreciate that mine may be the only strong reaction.

In the analog world, I sometimes drive my truck pretty fast, and pass every
slower vehicle in sight. I am far from perfect in considering slower drivers
as "Highway SPAM", and recently another driver scolded me for my bad driving
habits saying "Maybe you should get your own road!".

Well, in this case, if the rest of you aren't as annoyed as I am "Maybe I
should get my own Internet!":)

I am sure I will know more shortly.

Bill

Subject: New Listing for Stockhunt - Have a Look

Have a look at your listing on this Wiki.

http://www.aboutus.org/StockHunt.com

Is this the kind of advertising that you are looking for?

Perhaps you need to consider the implications of disrupting so many people
with your crap. The next step is to have your domain pulled if you can't
control yourselves and learn to get along with the rest of the world and
quit spamming us.

Jerks!

Sincerely,

Bill Buckels
