Re: Looking for Dr. John Matthews - Referance to Ohio Kache Systems Multi-Kache Card

From what I've been told there are two options for the board. One is an
> upgrade from 256k to 1 Meg. The other is a SCSI controller.

i've 2 of the oks cards...one i tried worked right out of the box i got if
off ebay...i think i have the orig manual which was the same size shape as
the card itself
and another one also..manual that is..little lights blinking disk caching
away...that one only works with floppies

i also heard there was a disk with the oks card..but never found such ..it
may have been some kinda diagnostic disk for the oks card....thou..as far as
i know the info is not disk related it is setup with an eprom built in like
ramfast scsi...

the other card i have not tested or don't remember doing so..but is has the
scsi card daughter board. i also THINK these used to work with SIDER hard
drives...but it has been so long i forget..but i think it was a big deal if
i remember right you could speed up your 10mb sider....not sure what version
did that

there was also a still later version with an external box/arrangement with
diff scsi ports etc i also think it had printer/buffer options etc...you can
see it in some old A+/incider Ads

anyway...just so you know i guess
