If you've got a mouse on your IIc, you can use it as a "paddle emulator" for 
any program that uses the firmware routines to read the paddles. From BASIC:

PR#4
Ctrl-A
PR#0

Will activate it. Note that later IIc's with memory expansion have the mouse in 
slot 7 instead of 4, and most commercial software titles will bypass the 
firmware, but it works fine for "Little Brick Out" etc.
