Probably also worth mentioning my DESCII utility, which is a IIgs
command line tool for the ORCA shell (or GNO). I wrote it about 14 years
ago and I'm a bit hazy on the details, but my recollection is that it is
a BinSCII decoder only (hence the name, also coincidentally using my
initials). It was an order of magnitude faster than BinSCII (and not
requiring a trip into ProDOS-8). At the time I believed it to be the
fastest BinSCII decoder available on the IIgs. This may not be true any
more.
It was probably distributed via comp.binaries.apple2 (to which I no
longer have access) and might have made it into some of the archives.
If not, I should be able to dig it up again as my IIgs is probably still
in working order.
