Yes, fun (and young child teaching) is the key for this exercise. And
I "misspoke" when I said joystick port, which would make anyone think
I meant the 9-pin thing; I did mean the 16-pin port. I'm going to work
exclusively on a IIGS running GS/OS and code in Complete Pascal.
Although the DIP plug and socket made some sense for an on-board
connector, it's pretty inconvenient (not to mention fragile) for
frequent use. How about an adapter from the sensor DIP plug to
a DE-9 plug so that you can connect the sensor (a paddle input)
through the external 9-pin joystick port?
