If you're going to work with sensors, you'd better learn to make
cables for yourself.  ;-)  The pinouts are all well-documented,
making this a good first project.

Quite seriously, sensors are all about connecting device A to
incompatible device B, and finding a circuit or program that will
allow sufficient compatibility.
