A very grungy Laser 128EX followed me home from VCF Midwest a couple
of weeks ago
and I finally had time to look at it a bit today. I'm very impressed
with its potential. It boots nicely into ProDOS from a CFFA card in
the expansion slot but that's about as far as I can go with it. The
keyboard has pretty much been beaten to death - nearly all the key
labels have been worn off, the space bar is cracked and only a very
few keys respond and then only to the "thousand tap" input method. I'd
like to do more with this machine - does anyone have a parts machine
they'd be willing to let go or else a clean fully functional 128EX
that could replace this one? I've got several GS's or a C that I'd be
willing to trade.
Thanks!
Jack
