  That was me.  I have looked at all my //c's back at home and they
are all the newer style keyboards with the Mitsumi keyswitches.  Which
take a different keycap than your 1st generation keyboard.  Your
keyboard is the kind with the plastic frame that site behind the PCB
for the keyboard.  The newer kind have a metal frame.

  I am in San Antonio right now, but I'll be back in Austin Saturday.
But I've got to head to El Paso Sunday.  Be gone for a week.  Man, I
hate this travelling!
