Just wondering what people here think of GEOS and whether or not it is worth messing with. I downloaded the images from Asimov, transferred them to 5.25 disks and then set up a 3.5 on my real GS with GEOS. Am I wasting my time or is it worth it?
I always think of GEOS in an 8-bit environment, not the IIgs. It crammed an extraordinary amount of GUI and functionality into a 64KB system. Berkeley Softworks was very innovative--they accomplished on a 1MHz 64KB 6502 what VisiCorp failed to do well on an IBM PC (with VisiOn). -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers!
