Very nice! A good place for the rarely-used cascode stage.
Hate to correct you, but a cascode amp consists of TWO transistors.
(Or vacuum tubes, back when it was invented :))
It helps fight the Miller effect making it easier to get high bandwidth.
Way off-topic, but the DUAL GATE FETs could be viewed as a single
transistor cascode amp.

Thank you for ending my confusion. I knew what a cascode was from
my tube tinkerings.. and have been trying to make sense of what
Michael said since last night. I always assume him to be right unless
proven otherwise.. ;-)
