Hi,

Have anyone successfully put GSoft BASIC (free edition) into a 3.5"
disk which contains a bare minimum of System 6?

I just checked: GSoft.Sys16 required 128K, Shell required 64K - just
these 2 itself probably means 800K disk can't fit. Just wonder anyone
have tried this before.

PS: right now I am still trying to do an environment for my son to do
programming, and what we have is an Apple IIGS + 3.5" disk. Probably
Complete Pascal is out of equation, but I am thinking of possibly
GSoft BASIC. It has been months since we got the GS and he still can't
program on it...

Don't you have a 4 mb ram card? It is possible to setup a ramdisk and use it. IIRC, there is software for this as well although I don't recall the names.
