You should have about 2 Vpp video. It might be enough, especially if the
monitor can be tweaked a little to get a higher contrast out of it.
And if the GS hase a "current source" output configuration, it might even be
possible to remove the GS' internal termination resistors to get more signal
out of it. The line should then be terminated with - say - 150 Ohms.
If the video is screwed up, It may be that the GS contains no termination
resistors. Then what I've said above aplies too.
But keep the non-terminated wires short!
The sync can propably just be connected, If there are no polarity concerns.
Just try it, it just won't work if the polarity is wrong.
