I commented a while back about what seems like a much lower demand for the
Apple IIs and the far fewer listings on eBay. I kinda thought that when the
school surpluses ran dry the prices would go up. Maybe everyone who wants
them has a closet full?
That's possible, but I think you just observed a statistical
fluctuation--compounded by the fact that fewer enthusiasts
were perusing the listings at the time.
Note that a "collector" would see that as a "damaged" Apple
with a peculiar modern card of no collectible value. ;-)
