Aztec C for the Apple IIe came in several versions. The last version
for ProDOS which is also available in the MS-DOS cross-compiler was
not ANSI compliant but did not predate ANSI by much.

However, what I will do as soon as I am able to get compiler source is
to provide as much ansi compliance as possible as quickly as possible
and in the meantime if you are in need of ansi2knr you should have no
problem finding a copy for your OS.

As far as this being an ancient compiler, it still works fine under
Windows XP, as good if not better as when I purchased it in the MS-DOS
days so it has withstood the test of time right along with ProDOS and
the Apple //e.
