For the IIGS, a scan doubler would suffice since its video output is already
RGB. If anything, I'd think it would be a fair bit simpler than what you're
doing.
Somewhere I have a scan doubler I picked up a while back that was built for
the Amiga. I've never gotten it working with the IIGS, though. In the
meantime, I just use a monitor (an NEC MultiSync 3D) that handles the IIGS's
low scan frequencies.
