Send me one anyway, as there could be something subtle you're not used
to seeing.   Raw SVideo to an SVideo monitor, and RGB->VGA are
radically different processes.

  I do remember rearranging my SCART cable a little after receiving it
from Roger, and I set up my "100" for 640x480 mode, and fiddled with
all of its other settings a bit as well.. but I don't recall ever
having the banding with it.   I got banding with many other products,
though.

   Once I see your pic, we'll know how to proceed.
