Actually you can find an Apple II compatible joystick on eBay fairly
regularly. I've currently got two, one that I use with my IIGS at home
and one with the IIc that I take with me. I use an original
Playstation LCD as a monitor and can't complain about the picture
quality from the composite output. The only thing I'd like better
would be if  there was a simple way to connect the RGB output from the
IIc to the video in plug on the back of the LCD.
