I'm working on a solution for the "classic ]['s" ][, ][+ and //e as an
expansion card. I've got two designs now, with both its strengths and
weaknesses: the first design requires tapping the clock and video
signals from the main board, but works in a _VERY_ simple form with
instability in the timing circuitry. I'm going to fix this in the next
two weeks and see if it is workable.
I haven't built the second design yet - the idea is to duplicate the
whole video memory on an expansion card and let another video scanner
use it. This would be fairly straightforward, BUT there is the long
cycle appearing every two VGA scanlines causing severe trouble. I
guess there is a simple solution for that, but I haven't found it
yet :-( ..
Stay tuned!
