Clarifications re equipment used for above article:

SVideo:
- modified IIgs
- Sony 19" CRT broadcast monitor w/ SVideo inputs (PVM-1943MD)

RGB->VGA option 1:
- unmodified IIgs
- Roger Johnstone's IIgs -> SCART cable
- Samsung 910MP 19" LCD monitor/tv
OR option 2:
- unmodified IIgs
- Roger Johnstone's IIgs -> SCART cable
- Highway SCART RGB -> VGA converter
- 17" Dell (Sony Trinitron) monitor.

note: both option 1 and 2 result in line doubled display.. which
once you've had it make it very unpleasant going back to visible
scanlines.

While I'd recommend the Svideo option for anyone not having RGB,
RGB is really the best way by far to go.   People gripe about
spending a few hundred dollars these days, but are forgetting
what peripherals used to cost when this stuff was on the market 20
years ago.
