All,
Back in 1991 or so, my friends and I played Omega, the Origin System's
tank-building game, obsessively.
I recently broke out my Omega box, disks, and books, and found my data
disks with all my tanks still readable. The program disks weren't, but
Asimov has the images so I made up new ones.
I also found the GS version of Omega and I see that the data files use
a different filename structure (which is a little annoying), and that
despite being ProDOS, I don't see how to make the 8-bit, 4-disk
version of the game work on a hard drive or 3.5" drive.
Can anyone shed some light? And does anyone still play? Maybe we can
set up a tank-exchange?
