    I was pretty much in awe just seeing screen shot of the arcade 
title with the words "Apple IIgs version" . :) I tried  it on my IIgs with
accelerator and it's pretty impressive scrolling and sprite overlaying.
Sure it's 2008 but I would still kill to see this game finished today! 

    Kind of reminds me of Super Mario Bros, Blue Helmet or Space 
Harrier (or finished games, like Rastan, Arkanoid, Task Force). 
The GS really had the potential to pull off arcade quality games 
back in the day but it faded out before it had the chance. I still
see people writing games for my 25 year old Vectrex, why not 
my Apple IIGS?
