Interesting!  I have a friend in North Jersey who was on Comcast that 
couldn't open the Site either.  I just assume it was a Comcast issue, but 
now that you say you're on Verizon and having an issue that makes me think.

May I ask what's your IP address?  You can go to 
http://whatismyipaddress.com/ if you're not sure how to find your IP address 
and it will tell you.

You don't have to post the whole thing if you don't want to.  Just the first 
two octets are fine.
