Re: ADTPro client disk format problems

I'm using ADTPro 1.0.5 client on an Apple //c. While I can format
disks fine using the system utilities disk that came with the system,
if I try to format with the client it acts like it's formatting and
then gives an error telling me to check the disk drive when it's done.
When I try to try again, it gives an I/O error and refuses to read the
disk until I format it some other way.
Obviously this is just an inconvenience and I can work around it, but
it would be handy if I didn't have to switch disks to format a new
disk. Has anyone else had the same problem?

P.S Oh yeah, and the Apple //c is a ROM revision 3 and I'm using the
built-in disk drive.

It definitely sounds like something is wrong.

But, WRT avoiding disk swapping, in the old days, I used to format
a whole box of diskettes at a time, then use them later. Batch
processing can be a real timesaver. ;-)
