Re: IIe Analog RGB - rare, unpopular, both?

I have not tried the Apple 80col/RGB card wired to a CGA monitor
(don't even know if that's possible). But the Taxan card I had did
not have the same color issues.

http://picasaweb.google.com/simplepractices/FSAppleIIe (pictures side
by side with a monochrome monitor)
http://picasaweb.google.com/simplepractices/RunningSoftware (see the
ones that use the Taxan RGB monitor)

I remember taking a picture of the "II Write" program running on an
Apple IIe with both an Apple Color Composite monitor and the Taxan
monitor. Also tried running it on the IIgs with a regular Apple IIgs
monitor (it was not a GS/OS application and probably does not know of
the IIgs' better graphics capabilities). For some reason, the display
on the Color Composite monitor and the Apple IIgs monitor looked the
same - perhaps because of the resolution the program was using. But
the graphics was real sharp on the Taxan monitor.

Unfortunately, those images are currently on a hard disk that crashed
and I couldn't post them online.
