The intention, which I understand, doesn't change the fact.


And the GS-RAM+ uses lots of relatively high-power
consumption chips (like many AE cards).  I'd much prefer
one that used SIMMs--both cooler and cheaper.  ;-)


And they are probably more reliable (less pins).

Maybe I'm a bit sensitive as I depend more on Ebay than
you to get stuff that I wan't (and I don't even "collect")
and giving running auctions publicity potentially increases
the amount I have to pay.

I understand your sensitivity to anything that might "talk up"
the market.  (I consider that an issue as well.)

I was just concluding that anyone who was reading this thread
would not be inclined to up the bid on one of these cards--
unless they were inspired to speculate by the anomalously
high bids--drat!  ;-)
