Good point. That is one possibility to consider before we totaly blaime the
GAL.

Very true.
Willi: I have a stand alone DRAM checker. What I can do is offer to send
it to you if you'd like to test each DRAM and see what speed they top out
at. I also have a module that allows for 'Bank Testing' which will test all
DRAMs as a group: http://www.memorytesters.com/sim1/bank.htm. This may also
yield some answers if DRAM is the issue.
I have a feeling that the GAL upgrade will solve your issue though. I know
it solved mine, and your issue sound exactly what mine had been. Thanks go
to Macdog for finding us the GAL we needed! I'm starting to actually like
that guy. ;-)
