I'll certainly be adding the new format to AppleWin.
(Or pester one of the other devs into doing so!)

I should probably mention that part of the impetus for the private
(now public) dialogue about a new image format stems from the
intentions of 2 other emulator authors to invent and implement their
own unique formats. Some of us wish to help unify this effort.
