  Gosh, I made a good living repairing them drives back when I had my
shop in Pantego, TX.  ('89 to '98) Most needed cleaning of course, but
I also did head alignments and head replacements.

  Best deal I ever made:  Bought 128 brand new sony 1.44 Meg drive
head assemblies from Tandy's outlet store (old manufacturing parts,
etc...).  Paid $15 for the whole box, or 11 cents each.  Sold 50 of
them to a Mac repair guy for $37.50 each, or $1875.  Used the
remainder in repairing FDHD mechanisms at $89 each.  I figger I made
$7-8K off that $15 purchase.
