Hello,
Under DOSMasyter, I use FUD to manage my files.
But I often get a "Not a DOS3.3 disk" even if they are read under Dos3.3!
So I had a look at the VTOC sector checking for the "Dos version"byte. It
was Ok. They I had a look at the first "unused byte": on my disk it valued
160, and on the DOS3.3 system disk it was 4.
So I changed this first byte and FUD accepted my disk!
Why is this "unused byte" used?
I will add this feature into my "RAWC" utility as a "DOS3.3 compatibility"
byte...
Guillaume.
