Apple 3.5 drives (platinum) or UniDisk 3.5 (white)? Just double-checking...
On Apple 3.5 drives, you can easily replace the mechanism with a 1.44 Apple
drive (usually intended for a Mac) and those are still commonly available new
on eBay, and other places.
