On sharing your IIgs hard drive to the network, I am not aware of an
application to do so. GS/OS has an AppleTalk client, but not a
server. You could turn the tables around and have your iMac share its
drive, but then you'd have to be on the IIgs to pull/push files from/
to the iMac through a LocalTalk interface. That's how I sometimes
move files to my IIgs.
If there's an FTP server (over Marinetti) available, Windows Explorer
can make it look as if it's part of the Windows file system, and I
suspect the iMac can do the same. Silver Platter (and Casper?) can
serve files from the IIgs, but I'm not sure if it allows you to upload
files.
Is ORCA/C enough to get started on writing an app that runs on
Marinetti? Do I need ORCA/M or anything else? Libraries?
