This overall questions is rather like "Which is better: Macs or PCs"
or "Windows versus Linux."

Each platform has their own strengths and weaknesses, and the "better"
computer for one user won't necessarily be the "better" computer for
another user.

This is especially true 20 years after each of these computers was
made, for the cost of entry for both is about the same (less than $50
for a complete, working system), and modern hardware (be it a pc or a
game console) can beat any of these computers at their own game.

If you're looking for a flame war, better keep looking...
