.SDK is an Apple II native file format, which is why Stuffit won't
help. You need Shrinkit on an Apple II or emulator to open these. SDK
archives are essentially 5.25" disk images compressed with Shrinkit and
can only be expanded to 5.25" disks (or images if using an emulator).
Best way to deal with them in OS 9 is to use a shared disk in Bernie ][
the Rescue. I used to create a 5MB RAM disk in OS 9 which I transfered
downloaded files to and then mounted in B2TR. Then you b can just create
blank 5.25" images and expand to them with Shrinkit.
ISTR that Shrinkit doesn't show .sdk archives by default... there's an
open-apple command to "show all files" or similar.
