Hi everybody, short-time reader, first time poster.
I just got introduced to the Apple ][ only a couple of weeks ago when
I got an old //c system which was on its way to the garbage. (//c,
monitor, manuals, and various disks including what came with it.)

I had been interested in old microcomputers before, though the only
other one I have that works is a Tandy/Radioshack Coco2 I mess around
with on occasion. There's just a lot of small things about the Apple ][
that are so much more endearing, like the fact that the BASIC
interpreter isn't in the ever-so-wisely chosen color scheme of dark green
on neon green. :)

I may actually be the youngest person to post here, since the Apple
//c (Rom version 3) is actually older than I am. I'm a high schooler,
and I picked the //c up from my physics teacher who was getting rid
of it. I'm interested in computer science as a major, and I think
learning more about the hardware involved would not only be
educational, but maybe even a little fun.

Plus, if I can procure a null modem cable, I want to set it up as a
dumb terminal to my Linux box just because it would look cool on my
desk.

Can anyone top that story? ;)
