Re: Senior PROM uploaded

I took the 2 files, and split them each in half then rearranged to
make a single 16KB standard ROM image, and a single 16KB "Senior PROM"
image.

I then plugged a ROM emulator into my platinum IIE in place of the
standard ROM. I could load up the standard ROM, and the system booted
fine (although when it booted, it says "Apple ][" instead of "Apple //
e", and I could load and run games fine. Then (while the system was
still running) I uploaded the Senior PROM image, and rebooted - that
took me in to the senior PROM image, where I was able to format a disk
and use the sector editor.

I then tried to burn the two images into a single 27C256 that I was
going to fit with a toggle switch to flip between the two images, but
my eprom burner appears to be cactus, so that will have to wait.

But it was encouraging that the image didn't seem to have any problems
running in the platinum iie.

Next trick will be to try and hack together an NMI switch.
