That reminds me of one of the oddest bugs ever. A transwarp in a IIe
that would not boot Prodos 1.1.1, or anything newer. But Dos 3.3 and
Prodos 1.0.1 booted, no problem at all. And it was Prodos, not Basic
System. I ran Prodos 1.0.1 and Basic System 1.1 (or whatever came with
Prodos 1.1.1) for a couple years until the CPU fried.
I did change the RAM, which did not help. AE tech support was
completely unhelpful, they denied it was even possible for that to
happen. Never did figure it out.
