When you read a world history book, are you offended and determined to
lash out at every conquest and violent takeover cited therein ?

It may not be pretty, but it is the record of human history and
evolution. 

Gain some context and possibly some xanax.  Not everything can always
be peaceful and parity, puppy dogs and lollipops.
