Ay, there's the rub.
"No person shall manufacture, import, offer to the public, provide, or
otherwise traffic in any technology, product, service, device, component,
or part thereof, that [does the stuff we used to do]."
People were getting sued for discussing techniques (Sklyarov), or threatened
(the guy from Princeton who documented the "hold the shift key down while
inserting a CD-ROM" technique), or generally harassed.
