Wow - It's been so hectic the past few months that I didn't realize
that "The Lamp" was discontinued back in August.
It's too bad that a very "historic" publication has finally stopped
being produced. Cheers to one of the few "magazines" that harkened
back to the older days of the Apple II.
BTW - An idea crossed my mind just now and hopefully Lyle is still
reading the newsgroup:
While The Lamp has served it's purpose, maybe we can request Apple II
users to post memories of The Lamp here or on the A2-Central message
board.
Then, maybe Lyle can compile those memories into one "final" issue to
close the run for The Lamp. After, The Lamp isn't a big glossy
magazine that simply disappears like A+ Magazine or others.
Just an idea. Thanks to the The Lamp for many years of good reading
(even though I was never part of the online community of Genie or the
other places).
