Re: apple 2e games

Hello kadiope,

if the game disks are not copy protected, and if you have a serial
interface card in your Apple, plus a Windows or Linux PC with a serial
port (that is capable of running Java), then it's fairly easy to get
stuff over with the program called ADTpro, found here:

http://adtpro.sf.net

ADTPro can also transfer data through the apple's built-in cassette
ports and a PC's audio ports, if you don't have a serial connection, but
that's a good bit slower and I've never used it myself.

If the disks *are* are copy protected you could try using the SST
(Saltine's Super Transcopy) program on the Apple to copy each protected
disk side to two unprotected disk sides, and then move those over with
ADTpro. Then you can put it all together again on the PC side with
CiderPress. However not all protections can be handled that way.

Malum duo aeternum.
