I am! Working on it right now.
The original SVD (www.theSVD.com) uses RS232. The current SVD2 design
uses the FTDI/Vinculum VDIP1 which provides a USB interface for both
memory sticks as well as direct connect to the PC - though you have to
work for it a bit.
I'll be awhile. The PCB layout is done (I think) and I have a ways to
go on firmware. The PC-based software interface is based upon the
original SVD software, so it shouldn't be too bad to convert.
The new SVD2 will support darn-near everything...including Apple2
(TRS-80, Heathkit, IMSAI, Altair, etc.). Auto-termination too. If
I can just keep up the progress!
