Gerard Putter and Eric Neilson built an ADT that does halftracking.
Gerard's Virtual ][ project supports it via the ".v2d" format.  We
added it to the trunk of ADT on Berlios, but it's unreleased so far.
This is all pending some work underway by a group of folks looking at
better nibble/halftrack/quarter track reading and writing.
