Re: 800k floppy on a Mac Classic II to transfer files to IIgs

    If you are using System 7.1 You will need the 'ProDOS' extention .
I can post if which is not part of System 7.1. PC exchange for System
7.1 will not read ProDOS disks.

     It wasn't until later when Apple starting to have PC Exchange
handle PC and ProDOS disks.

    With out the ProDOS extention you will beed to use Apple File
Exchange which is part of System 7.1 (You might have to install it) but
it some times plays with the files for ProDOS strange and they will not
work on an Apple //.

     If you need this extention let me know and I will post it up my
site for you.

     Also you can use the Floppy drive in the Classic II to format the
disks, but it might still be a better idea to do the formating on the
//gs.
