Commodore released half a billion different models and revisions of
everything.
My 1084S monitors will not work with my Apple //e because the models I have
are both PAL and my //e is NTSC.
You may have one of the PAL/NTSC 1084S models or plain NTSC, or even a
PAL //e (although they aren't all that common).
It can't hurt trying anyway. At worst you just get a mono picture with a
grey-ish tint. You can't damage anything, o give it a try! If that is the
case though, just press the green button to save some eyestrain as NTSC
through a PAL monitor does look pretty horrid.
